I am considering adding some inverts to FOWL tank. My set up has many caves & crevices made up of mostly non-live base rock with a small amount of live rock. Thier is no natural algae, nock on wood.
here are my tank mates
1 flame angel (med.)
1 kole tang (med.)
1 heniochus (med.)
1 red scooter blenie (small)
1 six line wrasse (small)
1 maroon clown (x-small)
1 blk & wht clown (small)
8 mollies (3 adult, 5 fry)
The mollies were to be moved after cylcing but thier schooling is likeable
and they are the only fish constantly out in view

That funny about the mollies. Your inverts should be fine. Im concerned about your maroon & blk./wht. clown, clowns dont get along with other types of clowns you better keep your eye on them when they get bigger and find out that they are dont related. good luck

Mollies need to be removed IMO. They will breed and you may have hundreds overnight. Don't see a prob with hermits.
ps you may catch some heat over your stock list (55 gal)

Butterflies and angels need a lot of well established LR as they are grazers, and two dissimilar clowns in a 55 may have territory issues. Not to mention the tang should prolly have a 75-100 gal to be happy.

This Tank is just till income tax or possible x-mass bonus. eye ballin a 265 at LFS. 2 diff clowns are risky but after following the thread "Next Clown" I simply had too, the Maroon is sub 3/4" and the B&W is just over 3/4" so with that size and age the may work, but there is a clown free reef waiting on the agressor just incase. Also thanx for I.V. info but still need more than its just a gamble. Does any one have a simular stock list regarless of tank sive?

You should be fine as long as the inverts chosen are compatible with one another, I.E. a CBS will probably not allow other shrimp in a 55.

there is alway green or red algae sheets to nibble. I feed ocean nutrition formula 2 flakes, Sfb marine variaty pack frozen, mysis, spirolena enhanced brine shrimp, and a veg based community mix that my LFS sells in bulk.

You also want to consider what substrate you have...LS or CC.... also if you don't have alot of live rock you may want to wait a while to let things buildup so the inverts will have something to eat.

If you are fighting parasites and disease then you need to work on treating the problem rather than introducing livestock.
