wanted: mh in washington state

:happyfish Ya, possibly. Is that 175 watt each side? Or one 175? I am unfamiliar with mh, so sorry to sound stupid. I just want enough for my 55 gal. I have pc currently, and want to upgrade to mh. Also, how old is the balast and wiring? Also what are the bulbs, also is this magnetic or electoronic balast? I want to keep it cool, so I don't have to get a chiller, and I don't want to get an ancient balast either. If it's 175 watt each side, that sounds perfect for me. Otherwise, I may still be interested. Thanks a bunch, alison

As for the live rock, I'm really stocked, but could use maybe 10 more pounds. Also, do you have any corals or fish, or frags for sale? Also lookin for a sump or canister filter. Thanks, ali

It is 175 each side. It is one box that contains 2 individual 175 watt magnetic ballasts.
It would probably be perfect for a 55 gallon (I use the same system on my 75). I upgraded from PCs and can't believe the difference.
The ballast is the same age as the bulbs (approx 1 year).
It is a really nice system with a quick disconnect cord so you can remove your canopy without having to drag the ballast box with it.
All I have left is the Live Rock and the lights.
I also have a VHO retro (ballast that will run 2 each 46.5, 48, or 72 inch bulbs and end caps) for $85, I don't have any bulbs for the VHO.
I could go $225 for VHO and MH sets if purchased together.
I just need to sell this stuff soon.
