ok, still considering...sorry to take so long to reply. Just wondering too - some RBTA's I see have the big bubble tips and some are just straight like the one above. Are they different or do they go back and forth?

The anenome are different in daylight and than in actinics the full shot is one with him all the way open and big.

Hey Hefner, I had this RBTA for over 7 months, it does bubble up and was bubbled up right beore I placed it in my frag tank, so I believe it is a little stressed right now. I removed it from my system because It began moving and I didnt want it to sting any of my SPS's. I believe I have some pix of when it was bubbled up not sure if that will help. It has split about 2 times while in my system, but I sold off all the smaller ones...

Cool, I just wondered if there was a difference b/w those bubbled and those not and if they went back and forth or just stayed one way or the other. Just wondering though - think if it is prone to move, it will do the same in my tank? I also have SPS, etc. I know that it just needs a place to call home and it won't move, but you think some are more prone to move than others?

I just put some more flow in my tank with a Tunze 6080 and thats why he began moving on me. When placed in a new system he will rome for awhile until he finds that perfect spot and when settled he will bubble up again.

hmmm. I wonder about that - I only have a 55 gal and I have a #4 and a #3 Koralia... I wonder if I'll end up with too much flow... But then again, I do have some softies - frog spawn, anchor, etc.... and I do have a conde anemone also.
