was bored so....

I decided to MAX out my OFB ojn my 65 and see how much it can handle for flow. its rated for 900 gph.
first I added a second return pump. just flowed faster cool but not spectacular. then I added a third return pump, TOO MUCH FLOW had to unplug it, before the tank overfilled. grabbed a spare U tube and started the siphon in that. then plugged it back in.
there is some serious flow now. noisy as all get out. but It kept me amused for 15 minutes. I'm keeping an eye on it to make sure running dual u tubes isnt too much for the down pipe.
What do you do when your bored?

and somne people say not to count return pumps when your factoring flow for your tank..... with three I'll count them as flow.

now with all three running my entire tank water volume runs through my sump about 12x in an hour plus the powerheads I have in there already putting me at about 30X turnover. not too shabby for a fish/softie tank.
