Mods if this is in the wrong section please move. I was told today that I should get a higher output pump and this would help with keeping the nitrates level down. is this true? the setup currently has a mag12 and it is in a 210g with 2 overflows. if this is true what size pump should I get? the sump is a wet/dry proclear 300. I am in the process of converting it into a sump instead of wet/dry

Increasing flow might help with dead spots, but I don't see how apart from that a larger pump would reduce nitrates.
Regardless, your setup sounds fine. I'm not a fan of trying to get all of your flow from your filter. If you need more flow, add powerheads or a closed loop.
