Was wanting a clam..

Hey guys I got a 125 Gallon setup going on for a good 5 months now. I have searched around and wanted to post about my specific tank to get feedback. I have 2 250watt metal halides. ASM G2 Protein Skimmer and I started feeding my tank with Kents Zooplex and Coral Accel as long as the Marine Snow sold on this page. I was wondering what else I had to do or if this was good enough to house a Ultra Blue Maxima Clam...and can I have more than one?? I currently have Powder blue Tang, Achillies Tang, Purple tang and clownfish some other fish in there and my quality of water is always good. Wha

u can hv more than one. do u hv any corals right now, such as lps or sps? if u do, and they r doing good, then its a good indicator u r ready for a clam.

Just make sure you are testing for calcium. Since I added my maxima I noticed a rather large dip in my calcium level. I don't feed marine snow or anything and my clam seems to be doing very well from the tank lights alone.

Here's a pic of my clam. I've got it in the mid-upper part of my tank since I am running T5 lights.
