I have a small but cozy 25 g saltwater fish/coral tank - a year old and never had any problem to deal with! Boy, am I spoiled. Overnight, my coral beauty developed a white cyst between eye and gill - looks just like a whitehead. Should the coral beauty be removed from the tank? Are the other 4 fish in danger?

If it is bacterial/fungal the other fish are safe for now. If it is a parasite get the angel out of there. You should get him out and treat him anyways if you think it is getting worse, but as long as in does not spread or get worse the coral beauty should be able to come through on its own.

Trey, the coral beauty spent the night with a blood shrimp I have in the tank. The shrimp's cleaning services did the trick. The cyst is gone, leaving a small mark where it had been! Hope that's the end of that - the other fish are acting normally. Thanks.
