watchman goby and inverts?

ok i have a blue spotted watchman goby. hes been in the tank for about a month. everything was fine, and then a camel shrimp came up missing. well i found his carcass under the castle, where my goby stays. so i had my water tested, and it or course tested high because i had a decaying shrimp in my tank. well i figured that the shrimp just died because i had a little ammonia cause of a small problem with my protein skimmer. then my goby took care of his body. then today i put in a couple scarlet hermits. one of them was close to my gobys castle. my goby swam right out of that castle and grabbed the crab by the end of its shell and dragged it back to the castle. so we moved the crab to the other side of the tank and the gobys leaving them alone. but now im wondering if my crabs are safe and if he killed my shrimp. will this type of watchman goby eat inverts, or was the shrimp probably dead and the crab just in his territory?

Wow, didn't think a goby would eat an invert, but what is more likly, is that the goby was defending his home, and figured the crab was trying to invade his space, so he grabbed it to teach it a lesson. If your goby did eat your shrimp that would be a first I heard of a goby killing an invert. But I guess stranger things can happen :)
