water change during cycle????

hi guys i've had my tank cycling for a weak now i have more than 20lbs of lr int it 20lbs of live sand and my question is that my nitrites are as high as they can be i know ur supposed to wait for the lr to cycle it but it hurt to do a water change also i found a colt and some zoos attached to my lr theyre fully open are they going to make it?thanks

I don't see any harm though it could hinder the production of nitrifying bacteria colonies. It's normally recommended to perform water changes during the cycle if ammonia is higher that 1.0 or 0.5 to be safe.
