Water change methods?

Looking for some good advice on doing easy water changes, and what is the best syphon/vaccum in your opinion.
I have the python that attaches to your sink and creates suction so that you can do water changes from your tank right into your sink. The problem is, that I got the 25 foot length, and it just does not seem to have enough suction power.
What methods and equipment do you guys use?
Thanks,
Gary

for my 55 i have a 20 gallon storage container for a holding tank for my ro/di, a 5 gallon bucket 7 ft of rubber hose and a rio pump. I siphon 15 gallons out into 3 bucket trips and replace with the rio pump from the 20gal container. I do this twice a month. I always have a few gallons of SW left over but i'd rather have to much left over than not have enough to fill back up.

Its not that hard. I just use a length of airline tubing. Syphon out the required amt and then dump new water in.

I always think slow is the best way... If you have a good strong hood take a 5gallon bucket and have the salt mixed up really well... most people say you should let it mix with the water for 6 hours before putting it in the tank... after that I just take the 5 gallon bucket and put it on top of my hood and then take some air line tubing.. (The small stuff) and let it run in slow... you can tie the tub to make it go really slow... This works really well when you first turn the lights on or over night imo... after your lights have been on all day your PH goes way up so this affects the PH less.
This is just my thoughts and the way I always do it... Has worked like a charm for me for along time. Just remember never make any sudden changes like just pouring it in...
