water change storage..

I`m just wondering how long can you store pre-mixed water for water changes ?I currently store it in a 5 gal. container and keep it out of direct sunlight. :notsure:

I've kept mine in a 5 gallon bucket for about a month and a half in a closet before. IMHO if you keep some good flow and a heater in it, it'll be alright. Just make sure it doesn't become stagnant and you keep it going in one direction.

mine mixes for anywhere to 48 hours to 8 days .... but not sure how long I could keep it .... of course I usually use a 5 gallon container and never fill it all .... get a nice pond pump that heats and move the water!!
