Water changes during cycle

Do I do normal water changes during the cycle period?
Nitrite or nitrate, Which is worse, and what are the levels supposed to be?

Don't do water changes durring your cycle. You will just legthin the cycle. Nitrite worse then Nitrate....... Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0 and Nitrates around 10-20, perferably 0

IMO you can do water changes during the cycle if you are cycling with LR that has living organisms on or in it, the logic behind it is that if the ammonia goes above .5 it will pretty much kill any hitch-hikers that came on the rock. It MAY extend the cycle but you will have allot more life in your tank after the cycle is done. Again JMO.:happyfish
