How often should I do a water change to the rock that is just being re cured from the die off of long shipping? Also How much water should I keep this cureing rock in? 10# is the more water better or is less water best? It has been cureing for 5 days and the ammonia is through the roof at 8 and the nitrites are on the rise with 0.5 and there are no nitrates yet. It has been in just enouph water so that no rock is exposed to air. As soon as I got the rock I scrubed anthing squishy off really good. Any suggestion to speed this process up will greatly be appreciated.

It sounds like you're on the right track. The first phase is on it's way if ammonia is processing into nitrite, just a bit longer and you'll see your nitrates. I wouldn't do any water changes, just let it be until the cycle completes.
