Water changes with r/o di water.

My ? is...
after I use r/o di water do i have to use any water conditiners (Ammonia Detox or Pro-Tech coat)?

I don't. I just make sure that my salinity, temp and pH matches that of my tank. Most of the trace elements that need replacing are in the salt mixes. HTH--Bob

no you don't. I do not and my tank is good.

i also should have said that I don't use water conditioners with an FO tank. A reef setup may require conditioners depending on your setup, so if you just have an FO I would no, do not worry about conditioners.
