On a 12 Gallon, would it be benificail to replace about 1 Gallon daily, or would that be overkill, because im scard of doing large water changes because of exposing the corals to air, and i am also wondering, snails and hermit crabs will eat fish poo, and a yellow watchman goby would keep the sand from becoming clogged with fish poo?? :help:

I think 0.5 gallons a day would be great. From what I've read, yellow watchman gobies aren't sand sifters.

I change 1g per day in my 55, but I also have another 20g in sump & fuge etc. Mine is automated, but I think 1g per day in yours might would be over kill.
