Water Circulation

I have a 75 gallon tank which I want to convert into a reef tank down the road. I have two Emperor 280 Biowheel filters on the back of the tank do you think this will create enough circulation in the tank to keep deadspots at a minimum. Does anybody else use Emperor 280 Biowheel filters without powerheads?

People use them, but how effectively I don't know. I you want a reef tank invest in powerheads, they are a must.

for a tank that size a sump or wetdry would be much better IMO.

I have an Emperor on my 55, but only because it came with the tank. I also added another filter to it since I heard Emperor's arent the greatest, both offer the return flow option. However, I still went out and bought a Maxi-Jet 1200 Power Head. you can find them real cheap on ----.
