Water currents in a 12g nano

Ok I have a 12g nano and there was some algae growing so I bought some snails and put in a powerhead. Will this be to much waterflow for a 12g?

Well that depends on what kind of power head you put in there. And if you have a reef tank and LR then you should have some snails, and hermits for your clean up crew its pretty much a must have. I have a 29 gal cube with an upgraded power head as the main pump and 2 powerheads inside the main tank for circulation.. But in a 12 gal it would def depend on the size of the power head but generally speaking an extra one is always a good idea.

I cant remember the size because it was in my old saltwater tank. I just noticed though how the anenome and coral is blowing really fast now. Is that bad?

Depends on the corals and the anemone. If you've got corals that like high flow you'll probably be fine. If you keep corals that don't like very much flow you might try pointing the powerhead towards the glass or somewhere else that it won't be adding so much intense flow to the tank.
The anemone will probably move to somewhere that it likes better if it is getting too much flow.

Ditto ^^. If you post what you have in the tank we maybe able to tell you if its too much or not. Not knowing yourself can lead to problems in time.

Your aneome and your torch require medium flow, IMO indirect med flow is best. My torch coral gets a nice med flow from a nozzel just above it there is enough flow from it being just above the coral and not right on it. Your zoa's will also enjoy a light flow over them. Mine seem to really like a nice light current on them. Remember these are filter feeders and some flow is necessary. But too much can kill them or at best make them very unhappy. If your anenome isnt moving around its prob happy where it is and i would focus on making sure your corals are the same.

I will just take the powerhead out since the anenome was not moving from its spot and the coral seemed to be doing fine. Thanks for the help.
