water flow in 12 g nano

I have a 12g cube with a stock pump of 160gph. With the addition of my sand and rocks I have about 9g of s-water in the tank. My tank is currently cycling and my lace rock was covered with a clear type of gel almost membrane like. I'm assuming this is part of the cycling process.
Ammonia: 2
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:10
So I hung an extra maxijet 900 (230gph) in the tank to get the water moving better and this blew the rocks clean. I don't plan on having this maxijet in after cycling, but should I put in a hydor koralia nano for increased water movement or will the 160pgh stock pump be good enough?

There are some options available to you depending on your setup.
Mod the stock pump by replacing it with the maxijet, and use some locline on the output to direct the water in two directions to form some flow throughout the tank.
That option may not be enough depending on your rock scape and livestock addition. Then the Nano Koralia would also be a good option.
If it were me I would do both.

I have a 12g nano also. And I switched out the stock pump for a Penguin 1140 which is 300 gallon per hour. It has helped it alot. I had to cut the hole the water comes out of the pump though because the tubing already on the tank was not big enough.
