water flow in refugium

I am going to setup a refugium for my 125 gallon reef. The refugium will hold about 40 gallons of water. What is the recommended water flow GHP that I should be shooting for. I have a RIO 2500 that I plan to use at first until I can get A better brand . The rio will pump 500GPH at 4ft but I plan on splitting the return pipe into 2 seperate outputs. With 3-90degree turns in each lenth of pipe do you think that the flow will be reduced enough for the refugium.
What type of glue is saltwater safe when I start to glue the PVC piping all together.
Thanks

I think you should be ok w/ the rate.
Use the normal purple primer and glue for the pipe, just wait 48 hours to use. (I blew out the fumes before turning on the water(if it makes a difference, I don't know)).
Good luck.

I was planning on using a duel bulb shop light hanging over the fuge. The fuge will be covered with acrylic to help fight evaporation.

I have well water and would go thru membranes like crazy if I used a RO/DI. The tank keeps a good temperature so the fuge should not heat it up really. I use the glacier water machines and at 25cents agallon the less evaporation the better
