Water Flow on Standpipe

I am building the Durso standpipe out of 1.5" PVC pipe. How much water is this capable of flowing into my sump through 1 1/4 bulkhead and flexible pipe?? I am buying a return pump and looking to get the most flow possible. I will be building my internal overflow also, so I can make it handle what I need. I am thinking the Mag24 as my return with about 5-6 feet head.

Not sure what the 24 is rated at for that many feet, but I would guess 1 1/4" is about 700-800gph. I know my 1" is rated at 550-600 gph

it depends entirely on how many holes or grooves you cut into your durso.
when i first started up the pump to test mine, it was filling faster than it was draining, so i had to slow down the return with my ball valve.
shut off the pwer for 3 minutes, removed the standpipe, drilled a few more holes, and it worked fine once everything was turned on. i dont know the hydrodynamics of it, but i wouldnt guess it would restrict the overflow by more than maybe 1/3 of its origonal flow... more or less according to how many/large your drain openings in the pipe are.
if you look close at my photo, you can see just below the collar where i had to drill a few more holes.
