water for QT tank

when setting up a QT tank what would be the harm of using treated (clorine Removed,) aged mixed salt tapwater instead of RO.
is this ok, if so it would make doing the daily waterchanges that might be nessicary for a uncycled QT that much easier.
Just throwing this out there to see if it is a bad idea or not
I only use RO in my main tank but it takes me a day to make 5-10 gallons. and if i set up my 45 for a QT tank for ich treatment or new addition treatment i thought it would be quicker and easier to maintain with tap water. but i want to be sure its not a bad idea before i ever need to do it.
if its a bad idea for new addition would it work in a pich if setting up an treatment tank for ich or some other outbreak, what are the downfalls?

It could be used in a "pinch", but you run the risk of adding all sorts of "variables" and aditional chemical reactions to a tank that is supposed to be stress free, stable and pure...
