Water got in my Coralife day/night time

So I was setting up my new 55 today and managed to spill some water on the powerstrip. I didnt notice but since it was plugged in I heard some humming. I immidiatly unplugged it from the wall and have it drying. Here's my question. Is the powerstrip shot for good or can it be dried? I want to avoid any potential dangers.
PS I'll be posting the pics as soon as I get my liverock and sand in

I`ve spilled water before on a power strip and turned it off and dried it out and was fine . But it would depend on how long the strip was powered with the water in it .
