water level in skimmer??

Hey guys

I have a msx 300 that i have had on my 120 for about three months now and i dont seem to be gettin a whole lot of skimmate,i will only get roughly an inch of thick black skimmate in about a weeks time

.I figured i would be gettin alot more gunk than that,but heres a pic of where i keep my water level at in the skimmer(blue line).Let me now if im doin anything wrong and tell me where you guys run yours at. Thanks

I turn up my skimmer until I see the foam start to go over the volcano like tube in the collection cup. That is the best I can offer. Hope it helps.
