FOWLR about 10 times "tank volume" per hour or on a 55...~550 gph (more is better)
On a Reef tank you want more like 20 x turnover...1100gph
You can get this by adding up all he power heads, skimmer output, and mechanical filter output...
Haveing a big number is important, but having the flow go to all areas of the tank is more so...
