water ok! rock?

I thank you all for helping me to decide to use real ocean water when I set my tank up on the island im moving to. But should I ship my rock or just grab pieces that come ashore after storms?

You could ship it if you want. The rocks will have die off of course, but you could cure it in a seperate bin while you are setting up your tank again. Personaly, I would not pick up and use any rocks washed ashore after a storm, just for the unknown critters factor. With the rocks you have now hopefully you know you have no unwanted critters. HTH
