My situation:
I recently lost my cleaner shrimp, don't know how or why, all my tests at the time were normal. So, for my step-son's birthday, we ordered him a horseshoe crab. We had at the time a scarlet hermit, a cerith snail, and 2 other unidentified hermits in our 2.5 gallon nano. We ordered the horseshoe crab, a nassarius snail, and 3 more cerith snails. After the ordeal with them, (long story short, the lady I ordered them from never checked her email in the 3 days before she sent them, and we left for vacation. I had emailed her for 3 days telling her to wait to ship them, but she did...they sat at the post office for a week. And when I picked them up, everything was alive.)
She sent 2 horseshoes, 4 or 5 nassarius snails, and about 10 cerith snails. There are 2 others that I think are astreas, but I am not sure.
Now my water tests are messed up...any ideas?

no, he was eaten by the crabs rather quickly, and it was about 2 weeks between the death of "Shimp" and the acquisition of these new critters and the water perimeters changing.

I know that it is, I only wanted 4 more snails and the horseshoe...that is all that I was putting in there. She sent more than I paid for, which would have been great if my tank wasn't so small. I have no where else to put them. blah
