Water pump

Alright this summer I bought a pump from HD is for small ponds its called a Little Giant Pump. I used it to aerate a cooler full of bait (small mullet) for a week at the beach. I was wondering if it safe for aquarium use?

Yes the Little giant is definitely okay for aquarium use. i have used them for years but I have a few recs. They are powerful pumps so make sure you are not overdoing it (ie: pump displacement vs tank size). Also they have a tendenct to overheat in s closed space. Make sure there is enough circulation so the pump doesn't overheat.
