Do they make a water conditioner for salt water like they do for fresh water? My water was sparking clear before I added the live sand. Now the tank looks like pond water after the sand was added. If I would have known this was the end result I would have used something over 2mm in thickness. The live sand I used is 1.7mm thickness. It's like you can't even look at the tank without disturbing the sand......LOL. I wouldn't even let my dog drink the water now! Maybe I'm just jumping the gun a little. All I know is that ***** has a tank with live sand and it looks sparkling clear.

Eventually, this will settle, though be sure you do not have powerheads directed at the sand or something. At this time the particulates aren't heavy enough to settle out, but in time they will.
