Water/salt question for 90-180G owners

I am looking into upgrading from my 30G to something between a 90G and 180G tank in the next 5 months or so. I have a couple questions regarding water for those of you who already own them.
1. Water changes: how often and what volume at a time (looking into cost of water/salt per month).
2. About how much evaporation do you get (probably PC lighting, nothing too strong, no corals for a while).
Any info would be great! Thanks in advance.

I do a water change weekly of approximately 20g. I have a 150g display tank & a 75g fuge/sump
I run 3 - 250w MHs and 2 - 96w PC lights. Due to the MHs I get more heat so I run a fan over the sump to cool the tank & that increases my evaporation. I lose about 2 to 3 gallons a day to evaporation.

I have about 65g total and do a 1.5g per day water change. It is all automated and I never touch it. I don't do larger changes unless I clean the sump out. There is no real need to do large water changes unless something is wrong with your water quality. Everyone will tell you something different.

Not to hijack the thread but how did you automate the water changes?

When I have more time I will post the photos up. I have two 20g containers in the laundry room behind the display. One has Kalk the other has saltmix. Each is on a digital timer with an aqualifter pump attached. There is a third timer/aqualifter that removes 1.5g from the sump. The saltmix comes on and tops off the sump. Then the timers revert back to the Kalk tank. That is the short version. If anyone wants to see then I will post the whole system with photos.

I have a 180 with a 55 gal fuge. I change 25 gals every 10-14 days and use two gallons per day for top off.

I have a 110 gal, and change about 20 gal twice a month. I topoff with about 3 gal/4-5 days. Do not use salt in your topoff - use RODI water. If you use salt, the sg of your tank water will increase every time you top off, eventually killing everything.

90g and usually do a 10g-12g change weekly (in the neighborhood of that 10% mark), although a couple of times I've done a 20g change to fill my QT. In fact, did a 20g last night as I may be picking up a clown this afternoon.
And I'll do a change even if the tests show low levels of nitrates as the fresh salt helps replenish trace elements.
