Water Temp

SO far so good. My tank has been cycling for 3 weeks now. All parameters look good. One question. What is a good temp for the water? Is 80F to high?

no, thats fine, usually between 77 and 81 is recommended. I personally keep mine at 79 and have not had problems.

i'd go with around 76 to 78 degrees.. 80 is a little high...but some like it there .. it's a good temp for just fish .. but corals tend to like it a little cooler..

I agree with the suggested water temps that are posted, I keep mine at 78......MORE important than the temp, IMO is preventing fluctuations. Consistent temps are healthiest. <img src="graemlins//angel.gif" border="0" alt="[angel]" />
