What is a good temp to keep a reef tank? It,s getting a little cold out tonight and my temp is down to 75 degrees. Norlmaly runs between 77 and 80. I've got a heater but haven't had a reason to use it.
a 2-3 degree temp swing sounds like a reason to use it.
I keep mine 79-80 with the heater set to keep it there at the temp the lights get the tank to through out the night.
