help me out, are you starting to cycle, or completely done?
when the cycle is over, you can cut down some, you will find your own little niche, based upon how your tank reacts to certain thingss including time, but you should make sure you test every couple of days until then, as for minerals, less often, but as i said, you will find your own groove, just don't let your water quality go

Hi,
Being that my tank is mature, almost 5 years, I only test once a week for calcium, pH and Alk and I seldom test for amm, nitrates and nitrites. After a while you will be able to tell when you need to check or do water changes by looking at the corals. The only daily, try to anyway, test I do are for temp and salinity. As mentioned you will find a groove, espcially when the tanks matures more, atleast 6 months or so.
