Water ?

I am about to get my tank started and i read through the thread of how to get set up. I was wondering the consequeces of using tab water? Are there long term ill results? Have any of you use tab water and haven't had a succesful tank? If tab water is out of the question, about how much would it cost for RO for a 75gal tank from the grocery store?

tap water has way too many harsh chemicals and algae blooms happen much easier. RO should only cost about 25cents a gallon. use RO water, everything will be much easier on you.
