I was using tap water for my reef aquarium then I was told ro water would be
much better i went to wal-marts and i did not see it. I bought spring water that said it was processed by: charcoal filtered, micron filtered, ozonated. I don't know if this is good or not?

That isn't as good as RO water. If you can't find the RO machine (it is the one where you put a jug in and it filters the water for you) then you can use distilled water. Distilled water is almost as pure as RO water. Whatever you do, don't use any more tap water.

I agree!!!

Actually if you have a VG's or a Kroger/Kessels check for a RO machine there, I get my water at VG's .35 cents a gallon if you bring your own jugs.

And if you want to get even cheaper than that and ever better water, get your own RO unit. So far I have used 120 gallons of water for my tank and about 50 gallons for drinking. Unit cost me $110 shipped. $110/180 gallons=$0.61 per gallon and falling per day. After a year of tank water and drinking water... $110/570 gallons=$0.19 per gallon. The filters need to be replaced every 2 years so it comes out to about $0.10 per gallon or $130 for 2 years of perfect water.
You save $89 for a year of water. You can get a nice sized coral for $89.
