Watermelon??

I just saw something (just appeared) lookes like a light green watermelon w/dark green stripes or dark green w/light green stripes??? Very small. Also beside it is a smaller milk white critter? same shape. I do not know what they are. Any ideas.

is it a green striped mushroom? i've seen green, watermelon striped mushrooms. also, baby mushrooms often have a white coloration to them until they begin to mature. hope this helps...
