im wondering if 7.2 watts per gallon in a 40 gallon tank would be too much lighting for a bubble tip anemone? iv had it under 4.8 (watts2x96 pc) for little over a year and bought a retro kit that holds 1, 96 watt. if not what would be the best combonation of bulbs for best color and overall health.

I have 8wpg over mine and my BTA and his (now two, just split last night, woo hoo!) clones do just fine.
If it's too much light for him he'll move to a darker area.

I have 10.44 watts per gallon, none of my 20+ BTA's seem to mind it a bit.

I run the halides for 4-6 hours a day, depending on if its a day off or I'm working. VHO is on for 12 hours a day.
