Get a custom sealife powerquad. It is 96 watts that would be plenty to keep almost anything you want except prob acros and maxima clams. Or you could go with a 2 by 36 retro kit with a custom hood. It is all up to you. depends on what you want to do with your tank and what you want to keep.

On my 10 I have had the following setups: 2X32 PC; 3X32 PC and currently have 1X70w HQI MH + 1X28 PC actinic. Of the three combinations I like the MH the best. I have heard great reviews on the 96 PC quad on 10's. I think that T5's start at 24" long so they might not work. The thing I like about ten gallon tanks is that they're the right size for about anything you want to do. What you want to put in the tank will dictate your lighting needs.
Good Luck!

i think mine 10 is 21 inches. it is kinda hard to get a really good set of lights for the ten i debated long and hard until i found the powerquad system. i love mine. now all i have to do is find the time to make a hood. anyways good luck to you.
