Wavemakers SCWD

I have the choice down to 3 for my new 150 glass tall using overflow box. But there seems to be controversy on each and I don't want to be limited how what type coral I can use just because it may react poorly to my choice of motion
Sea Swirl (probably the 1")or 2x 3/4
Tunze stream ( small/ powerful but I hear the wreak havok on the bed if not careful.
SCWD how can ya go wrong at the price, just how noisy are they?
Thoughts, opinions, options?

Well, I only have experience with the SCWD so thats all I'll comment on. I love mine. Its on my return line for my 20 gal so it only has about 300gph going through it but its very quite (actually I don't actually hear mine at all). I have heard of others getting calcium deposits in them which will cause them to sieze, which will usually just cause them to not alternate and be stuck out one of the sides(nothing a little vinegar couldn't take care of). I have had mine for 8 months with no problems thus far. And with the price of a sea swirl you could go through at least 3 scwd before you match the price. But remember the flow going through them all depends on the pump you have...slow rated pump...not much flow. You might want to think about using a combination...maybe a scwd for your return and some tunze streams as well. But as you said all depends on the corals you want. If you are going to go sps, I'd say a combination would be best.
