had parent teachers conferences tonight. my daughters science teacher just cannot believe we have a salt water tank, she is like........in awe.....ya!!! She commented on how smart I must be.......

) didn't tell her I rely totally on a website!!!! She also said this was "Just the most wonderful exciting way to educate and learn and enjoy and help your child develop...and give them such an extraordinary learning experience, I don't know anyone else in the school who has a salt water tank, oooo, what a creative mother!" end quote. I am still laughing...............da....creative maybe, dumb, for sure...this has been expensive and I have failed more than I have succeeded. Learn, yes, enjoy...of course....but anyway, just wanted to let you know that this is just what we are...alla us SW people, we are just so special...an elite group leaping far beyong the normal everyday plain folk......yep, uh hu. Fer sher!!!!!!!!! I am still....

Actually, my 2 year old son is part of the reason why I wanted to do salt water again. I really like it myself, but I thought it would be great for him to watch too and a good learning experience for him as he grows up.

i agree, i totally relly on this site whenever i need something, few problems are within my common knowledge. I never thought about that, but i dont think i know anybody at my school with a SW tank either. COOL. Thanks for all the help over time!

The good part of me wants to share in this experience that has caused you to feel so good.
The other part of me wants to send your post in to be graded by the teacher......

SW sure is a challenge and is very different from the land type pets many of us care for. In this case it is truly like creating a piece of fine furnature to be on display in your house like a trophy.
Now stop spreading that is also educational or we will start loosing members.

Now if I could only get my kids to actually look at the tank......The only thing my daughet knows about the tank is that Ted the tang is a pig! My sone doesn't care, but that could be the rainman in him. So I guess I had better enjoy it for all of them.
