We've had a pair of gsm clowns for 9 months now. They were both small and the male had white stripes that later turned yellow. Normally Mallory lets Sid, our squarespot anthias, control the tank but earlier this week, she was much more aggressive towards the other fishes. Any fish that came near the bta, she chased away. I looked everywhere for eggs but didn't see any. 2 days later, and there is a patch of shimmering yellow eggs behind the anemone. The bta had gotten too large for our tank, Mallory is really good about feeding the bta, that we listed her on here and craigslist for sale or trade. We've never had a pair of clownfishes, so it's exciting that there is eggs, like they're telling us we're taking care of them right. I know the fry won't make it but hey, free food for the tank! Makes me want to keep the bta even though she killed our hammer coral and damaged some star polyps. We have a sebae in the tank as well and she has gotten very large too but she is mellow and I never catch her tentacles stuck to another coral.
