Nothing much to do today so I got the old camera out and took some pictures. I will start with the old 55 and end with some construction pics of the new 120.

Good looking set up...looks healthy and mature. Good luck making the transition over to the larger display. I switched from a 3 yr old 55 to a new 100 back in February. Just take your time and be patient.
By the way I should be in your neck of the woods in a few weeks...got a 30 yr class reunion in fredericktown. There is a chance we may make a trip thru St. louis if all goes well...maybe catch the cards and visit the zoo.

Nice job, 120s are tough to setup though, cuz theres lots of space, and u literally have to get a stool to lean into it, and its hard to get around back unless its isnt up against a wall

Hope you have a good time in STL. You cannot beat a day watching the Cards game and then onto the free zoo! Now all we need is a free huge public aquarium!
Liontamer-
I realize the problems with the size of my 120, but I really like the depth that the 120 gives you. It should make aquascaping much easier compared to the old 55!

Thanks for the complements! I am using a Canon Powershot A80, the pictures look MUCH better, but after you compress them to get them small enough to put on the site they look bad. Anyone know of a good free host that will let me link from their site without such a small limit on file size?

They wont let you link a picture on this website anymore. Which really stinks because that is the only way you can get some great pictures. I have an account a www.pbase.com
Its only like 20 bucks a year or something like that...

Ah yes, I was waiting for someone to notice that, good catch Kip!
I have a 1 inch pulg for the intake. I will then point the locline above the water line in the tank and let the pipes run dry. I should be able to work on cleaning the pump or scwd, then hook everything back up and remove the plug.
I realize it would have been much easier to install T valves, but hindsight is always 20/20 right
