Week 3

So the cheifs, the bears, and the steelers (without big dumb ben) are 3-0. San Fran is 0-3. I anyone bust out laughing when NO missed that fieldgoal on first down. holy moly, that was nuts. And for me living in the houston area, having my team convinsingly beat the texans is going to buy me several weeks of peace. People gotta understand, (people being texan fans) you haven't even been to the playoffs to loose, compairing the 2 franchises is pointless. Now if you want to talk trash about winning or loosing one game or over the course of the season that is all in good fun. But your defense has problems serious serious problems...

Someone want to explain to me why everyone (in dallas and the announcers) are ragging on the Cowboy's defense? Bla bla bla no turnovers, don't force turnovers, they need turnovers. Seriously, I'd rather They've allowed what? 53 points in 3 games? 7 of those in prevent in a 3 score game? That is good enough to win a crapload of games even with Garret as your offensive coordinator.

Hey look bret favre won a game! I think he's going to get a lot better, (vikes are the best 1-2 team right now) And after yesterday's game, I feel a little better about the loss to Chicago. I think they are going to be a force this year. Especially late, get that wind off the lake, that packed out stadium. That defense, I just wonder if the greatest show on turf can translate well to 0 degree 40 mph wind....

I wouldn't be banging my chest about the Cowgirls beating the Texans. As you stated , the young Texan defense had a hard time containing Austin. Williams is yet another overrated blowhard. I see them finishing at 11-5, and second in the NFC East. It will be comical to see The Girls miss the Super Bowl in their own home field.

Don't know about the drama in Texas NFL Ville but at least now we know why the Longhorns didn't want to move to the Pac 10

LOL, well said...Like I told my Longhorn fan buddy, UCLA is a solid middle of the pac Pac 10 team, Texas shouldn't expect to beat them, even in Austin.

I jumping on the Chiefs bandwagon, I have the right, I was born there and lived there for 16 years. Just because I haven't been there in 20 years doesn't mean anything.

I thought the conferences had gotten pretty even last year, this year the AFC is looking a lot better. The NFC East is not as good as people thought, myself included....Could change though.

You obviously don't know jack crap. Austin was held to 2 catches...guess the contained him better than the two teams previously. Williams had over 100 yards and 2 Touchdowns....not bad for overrated. Do you just make up things? seriously?

You give the Pac 10 too much credit. UT isn't the powerhouse of last year when Colt McCoy and Company were at the helm. They don't have a viable RB, and their defense is less than stellar. The Gilbert kid has a decent arm, but he ain't no Colt McCoy or Vince Young. They came in as a 15th to 20th place team at best. The useless Coaches Poll, AP Poll, and BCS Rankings stuffed them at the top simply because they are Texas.

Yeah but they lost to a team that lost 6 of their 9 games in the Pac last year

I only watched about 10 minutes of the game. All I heard the announcers saying was Austin was getting open in the flats, and Williams was "not performing up to the Dallas expectations". 63 of his yards came from one pass. Witten got more catches than Williams, but playing TE and running the short routes, he doesn't get the massive gains like Williams. Williams has been known to pout when Romo doesn't throw it his way. He's turning into a Terrell Owens clone.

Don't follow UCLA. Did they make any major changes this year? Watching that game, the UCLA coach did say he had a young and inexperienced team, but they were getting better and better each week. UCLA wasn't expected to even put those kind of points on the board against Texas, much less win. That just shows how weak a defense Texas has this year.

Wow that is a mischaracterization. Williams had a good game, he made clutch catches, and difficult ones. Worth the big money he's making still no. But don't hate on a guy when he does his job...

I don't mind him doing his job. It's when he flaunts it with that little move he does, then signals a first down when he catches a ball for one. If I was a defender on the other team, that would only give me more motivation to clock the guy silly the next time he does catch one.

UCLA was picked to finish 9th out of 10 by most publications....It won't happen, they are playing well. But there is little question that the PAC 10 is the second best conference this year.

UCLA has had the worst luck in the world with injuries the last few years. Pac might be nasty this year. UCLA lost 13 zip to Stanford who's undefeated, Handed Houston and Texas their only losses the hung in right to the end with Kansas state who's undefeated. If this was expected to be a lower tier team in the conference there isn't going to be many gimmie games this year.

I hope Bear fans aren't pounding their chest too much this morning. They're last years Denver, they have an easy few games coming up, but they don't look like a playoff team to me. Green Bay is a far better team, they had 18 penalties, Cutler had 1 INT, 2 that were dropped, and 2 taken away on GB penalties. Still think when push comes to shove GB is one of the top 5 teams in the NFL.

Lets see here Beat the Packers and CowGirls both of which were Perdicted to be SUPER BOWL CONTENDERS. We have our top 2 Linebackers BACk in Briggs and Urlacher that plus Peppers on the LINE. Also Last Night our 2ND Best DL Player was INACTIVE for the game. Hester has found his Spark on Special Teams Again it seems this year. EWither that or the Packers Punter was BRAIN DEAD in kicking to him. Well the WHOLE Packers Team was Brain dead last night with all the Yellow they got from the Refs. Come on 18 Penalties in ONE GAME breaking a Record for the teams History. Heck my HS team that has Yet to win a Game this year could have Beaten the Packers last night.

Trust me, I was rooting for da Bears last night, I can't stand the Pack, but nobody could watch that game and honestly say they think the Bears are a better team than the Packers....Only a Bear fan could say that. The Packers beat themselves.
