Weird clown behavior

Hey got a quick question i put in a 3 inch gold stripe maroon clown in my tank on friday and today it is starting to fan the sand digging a hole, why is this happening?

Do you have anything for it to host in? I've heard that when some clowns can't find anything to host in, they dig themselves a little hole in the substrate as a kind of substitute

This is a common behavior for clownfish no matter if there is a host or not .

yes i got him on fri and on sat i put in a large green bta and a purple condylactic
