weird clown behavior

Got my first clownfish the other day and I noticed his weird behavior. During the day he swims against the glass until the light go out, then he hangs out by the overflow. When I get up at 4 am somedays I notice him at the surface in the back corner just floating on his side. Then he will change to a vertical position with his head at the surface.
All of my other fish dont hang out at the surface so I figure I have good gas exchange. THANKS!

I had a couple tank raised percs that slept on thier side, in the corrner at the surface, they looked dead. A while back I posted a thread concerning this behavior and found it is quite common.

Hes fine, Hes probably sleeping there because the gently current going to the overflow will hold him in place while he sleeps. All my other fish find cubby holes and caves to hold them in place but the clowns lay anywhere. My lays on a plate coral likes its some kind of king size bed.
