weird Clown question

I have 2 False Percs. I've only had them for about 2 days, and they would both start scooping sand into their mouths, and mounding it into the middle of the tank. The mound was getting pretty big, so I moved the sand back to make it all flat again. The next day I noticed that the mound was back, and the Clowns were still going, I don't think they had any intention of stopping, so I smoothed it back out. Is this normal or should eliminate them?

I have four ocellaris clowns(two tanks). They do it non stop they are never happy. Its not a real bad thing just watch out for loose rock or things that may fall if all the sand is moved. Where they are digging is probably where they sleep and they are rearranging it to there liking. Good luck with it.

Are you serious? I was just making all of this stuff up to see if anyone would believe me. I was thinking that some fish might do it though because I was at my LFS and I saw a fish getting sand in its mouth and shooting it onto a rock, I thought that it was just instinct or something.

Why would you make up a question for the forums?
There are many burrowing fish that do extensive sand renovation. Sand-sifting gobies, for instance, do this all the time.

How about you just calm down buddy, The guy is just trying to get a question answered. I think that your just wasting everyones time by posting your little ignorant question.

Please stop doing this it will cause people not to even look at your posts. We are here to help anyone and everyone but people dont like to be lead on with non-serious posts and eventually start to ignore the posts by that person.
SAMBASAM if you have nothing to add to the post please dont egging people on to cause conflict is not what this board is about and is not look well on.
