weird maroon

is it normal for a gold maroon to be swimming near the filter and heater? i just acclimated it for about 2 -3 hours. he also swims near the wall like he was looking outside of the tank.

i have the red clown and like you said he always on the top and between the waterpump
and the heater. more then that at night time he sleep in vertical position face up between the heater and the corner of the tank.in the beginnig when i saw him all the time in the top i thought he have breathing problem but he is like that more then a month

Yeah! My Clowns hang out near a water-pump most of the time also. They also sleep behind it. It's just what they do! :happyfish

My percs did the same thing until I bought them an anemone. Now they hardly ever go any further than 6 inches away unless it is feeding time.
