Weird problem need some answers

Ok so I have a 20L frag/nano tank. Ok so I have 5 blue leg hermits / 2 I dont know what they are / 1 red legged one. Recently I have been finding dead un shelled bodies in the tank. Funny part is that all my hermits are still alive.. What gives? Why is this like this? I am just curious.

Its called molting. you can leave the molts in your tank or take them out its up to you. Alot of time they will eat them once they find them again.
They will leave there molts out in the open at a distraction will they go hide and let there new exosceleton harden.

they molt to grow larger. since thier 'shell' doesnt stretch like skin.
