Weird things coming ouf of LR

In my 25 gal, there are some weird things that are coming from the LR, or I think some kind of worm is making them? It started a few days ago and them keep appearing. Here are a couple pics:

I had some weird things like that appear overnight out of mine too.I'm not sure what they are but thats what they look like.I know i have some sort of brownish red and cream striped worm too.I wonder if he did it?He only comes out at night.Maybe check and see if you have one?

Well you will see fireworms or bristleworms coming from there but that is normal. I am just starting with all this saltwater thing for 3 weeks now and i have been noticing all kinds of things coming out of my LR. Today i bought a new rock and it appears to have clams on it and a Black Spiny looking Urchin thing. It was crawling around earlier. I will take pics tomorrow. But most of the things on your LR are good for your aquarium. The worms will eat the fish waste and leftover food. My Orchid dottyback i got stays inside the middle of one of my LR. He found a cave, Hardly get to see him. Well goodluck on your tank.

lol yea you'll hardly ever see him, I had another dottyback do the same thing before. Once he found a cave in the live rock I pretty much never saw him again. It always got to the point where I thought he died but then he would finally emerge again. Mine would spit live sand all over the rock too, had no idea what that was about...

Anyways, thanks for the replies. I actually did see a redish color worm in the rock too.

i used to have those a while back. Think theyll go away... its like something that makes a smallish tube out of the sand right? dont know what it is but it went away

I think they are pcs of detrus from worms in the rock sa it fills up the hole it pusdes it out watch the rock closely and you will see it coming out sometimes JMO
