Weird!

Weird! Today I got up to lok at my fish, and one (A Regal Tang) was completely covered in white spots, and another (flame angel) had no spots on him but was swimming very... strangely. They both eat, and the regal tang seems happy. Just strange. Oh, well. Already started treating for ICH. Tank parameters OK. Getting a snail or six this afternoon, cause my diatoms never went away after several months, and they eat it according to lfs. Sign off.

What are you using to treat the ich? Most effective methods are not invert safe. Do you have a QT tank you can put the fish in? You need to be more specific about tank perameters, how long it's been set up, other occupants, etc.

Regal Tangs are a pain. I cured mine of ich many times. And when I finnally thought he was perfectly healthy he died.
But there is no ich medicine that works well that won't hurt inverts. You need a hospital tank

Does garlic hurt reef tanks? Use it as a supliment in the food. That's how I cured mine about a year ago. Soaked his food in garlic juice for a couple hours.

from what ive read on garlic, it is not a cure, but will help reduce the ick. i am more in favor of FW dips. Terry B. would be the one to consult on this issue.
