Weird!

I have a RTBA, it looks great. Nice color, it's grown in size in my tank. My pH 8.2-8.3, sg 1.026, NH3=0, phos=0, trates 20ish. I've had it around 8 months. Today I saw one of the tentacles come off. I see no signs of injury. It looks normal. The mouth is normal, the foot looks normal. None of the other tentacles look funny. I have MH 250W 14k bulbs, 96w CF bulbs. It hasn't moved from it's original spot. I'm planning on doing my weekly water change tomorrow. No new additions. It has two resident GSM.
I just fed it some PE mysis, and it had a good feeding response.
Has anyone ever seen something like this? I took pics after feeding it, so it's shrunken down and the MH are off for the day. I'm trying to download them now.
Now that I think about it. I've seen this pink florescent poop two or three times over the last few months. I'm wondering if this was tentacles dropping. If so, I've seen no change in her.
